Three year cargo contract signed with Imperial Air Cargo for JNB and CPT Airports

I’m really pleased to announce that Imperial Air Cargo has signed with our Cargo business at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, and Cape Town International Airport.  They will self handle in our warehouses during the night but inside our security cordon.  They will start on 01 April on a three year contract.

In addition, Imperial has agreed to extend our freighter ramp handling contract for a further 3 years.  Imperial’s fleet of domestic narrow-bodies freighters makes around 30 night turnarounds a week at Johannesburg OR Tambo, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth.

This safeguards and extends services with one of our key domestic network customers and ensures a further degree of stability for our business in South Africa going forward.
