Happy 4th Birthday Menzies SA!

On the 1st March 2012 Menzies Aviation celebrated its 4th Birthday in South Africa.  The four years have been challenging but we’ve continued to grow from strength to strength.

In 2008 it was involved in the biggest transfer of ground handlers in the country’s history whereby overnight it was out with the old and in with the new, 2010 was the highly successful FIFA World Cup operation, and in 2011 Menzies “First Airborne” group of staff flew in from across the world at short notice to assist their South African colleagues during our strike period.  All in all, there’s never a dull moment in South Africa!

Over this period Menzies SA have won numerous Airports Company South Africa awards for both Safety and Best Airside Service Provider, as well as airline awards added to recently by the Shongololo Lounge winning Priority Pass Lounge of the Year 2011 – Africa and Middle East.
